Llanelli Upgrades to Smartsoft

Llanelli is the largest town in Carmarthenshire and is famous for its proud rugby tradition. The Customer Services Centre in Ty Elwyn, their prestigious Local Government building, had been using one of our simple ticket systems with pre-printed tickets for some time. Customer Service managers were keen to upgrade to Smartsoft to obtain more detailed analysis for every Customer enquiry. Smartsoft generates 60 different Smartreports and provides Smartstatus live monitoring. This Queue Management data can be easily accessed and displayed in our stylish Management Reports.

The Customer Service waiting area was fitted out with a new large screen to display Smartmonitor data and call Customers for service using English and Welsh. Bilingual speech was an essential element of the upgrade, as 30% of Llanelli's population speak Welsh.

We installed Smartkey virtual Web based key pads at each Counter, Interview Room and at Reception to record every Customer enquiry. The Reception desk was also provided with a POS desk printer and a Touchscreen to print tickets.

We are pleased to say that this smooth transition from ticket system to Smartsoft has streamlined Customer waiting and created a powerful management tool for Customer Service staff.
